8x + 17 - 2x - 9 = ?,

7y - 10y + 11 = ?

I want someone to answer and explain very clear and well, cuz I'm so bad on algebra.

    So for the first one 8x is similar to - 2x so you put them together and get 6x and posiative 17 and - 9 are similar so you put those together and get 8 so the first eqaution is 6x+8 and for the second one 7y and 10y are similar also know as like terms so you put those together and get - 3y becuase the seven is before the 10y and so the equation is - 3y+11
