    144 cars

    Step-by-step explanation:

    well for month 1 is 9

    month 2 would be 9 times 2 so 18

    month 3 then you double that so 18 plus 18 is 36

    month 4 next you'll double 36 so 36 plus 36 is 72

    month 5 finally you double 72 so that equals 144 cars

    9 cars=1 month.

    18 cars = 2 months

    36 cars = 3 months

    72 = 4 months

    144 = 5 months.

    Add all cars which gives you a sum of 279 cars.
