    It'll take them 6h to get to their cousin's house.

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Since they travelled 170 miles before stoping for lunch the distance they still had to travel after this stop was 500 - 170 = 330 miles, if they do this at a constant speed of 55 mph we can find the time it'll take them to get to their destination by dividing the distance by the speed. So we have:

    time = distance/speed = 330/55 = 6 h
