    4n - 1/7 = 5/7

    4n/1 - 1/7 = 5/7

    Lowest Common Denominator of 1, 7 is 7.

    So LCD is 7.

    Pardon me to just go ahead and solve the equation.

    Multiply both sides of the equation by the LCD

    7 * (4n/1 - 1/7) = 7 * (5/7)

    28n - 1 = 5

    28n = 5 + 1

    28n = 6

    n = 6/28

    n = 3/14
