How do you solve - 3 (2x-2) - 5 (3x+3) = 3

    The answer is - 4/7

    First, you distribute the - 3 and - 5 through the parentheses.

    -6x+6-15x-15=3

    Then combine like terms

    -21x-9=3

    Do opposite operation

    9+3=12

    That leaves

    -21x=12

    Divide both side by - 21

    X = - 4/7
