    Step-by-step explanation:

    4 + (-3) - 2 * (-6)

Let us start from the left

2 * (-6) = 2 times 6, where we will have a negative sign on the result as + when multiplied by - gives - (negative)

    2 * (-6) = -12

    4 + (-3) - 2 * (-6) = 4 + (-3) - (-12)

Now we open the bracket from the left. It the sign outside the bracket is negative the sign in the bracket will be changed

    Hence

    4 + (-3) - (-12) = 4-3+12

Now - 3 + 12 we find the difference as the signs are opposite and then place the sign with the larger number

    Hence - 3+12=9

    4-3+12=4+9 = 13
