Use elimination to solve the system of equations.

2x+6y=-8 and 5x-3y=88

    Okay so you just set the second equation equal to the first so that - 3 = - 6. Then x cancels out so you can figure out x.

    x=14

    Once you find that out plug it in to one of the equations and you get that

    y=6
