    Supplementary angles add up to 180 degrees.

    2x + 23 + 4x + 46 = 180

    Combine like terms:

    2x + 4x = 6x

    23 + 46 = 69

    6x + 69 = 180

    Subtract 69 to both sides:

    6x = 111

    Divide 6 to both sides:

    x = 18.5

    2x+23+4x+46=180

    6x+69=180

    6x=180-69

    6x=111

    x=111/6

    x=18.5
