8 ounces of lobster meat. They charge

$17.40 for 12 ounces. What would be

the cost for two pounds of this lobster

meat?

    17.40 / 12 = 1.45

    1.45 x 2 = 2.90

    11.60 / 8 = 1.45

    1.45 x 2 = 2.90
