Usually in these kinds of question I like to keep the variables in front, but that's just my thing so it's your call whether you want to do it or not.
(9 - 7i) (11 + 8i) = (-7i + 9) (8i + 11)
Multiply:
(-56i^2 + - 77i) + (72i + 99) = - 56i^2 - 5i + 99
