First step when adding fractions is to make them all the same denominator.

they can all have a denominator of 8.

    1/8

    2/4*2=4/8

    3/4*2=6/8

    then add

    1/8+4/8+6/8 = 11/8

    then reduce

    1 & 3/8 miles

To find this out, simply add up the values, this is the total distance that she had jogged for.

    1/8 + 6/8 (3/4) + 4/8 (2/4) = 12/8 = 1 4/8 = 1 1/2.

She has Jogged for 1 and half miles.
