What is the value of y in the equation 4y - 2 (1-y) = - 442

    4y - 2 (1-y) = - 442

    4y - 2+2y = -442

    6y - 2=-442

    6y = -442+2

    6y = - 440

    y = - 440/6

    y = - 220/3
