    30 Trees

    Step-by-step explanation:

When the seven trees were counted, the total number of trees = 143 + 7 = 150 Trees

    Since there are 5 groves

The number of Trees in each grove will then be the division of the total number of trees by 5.

    150/5 = 30

There were 30 Trees in each grove before they decided not to count the seven trees.

There are 30 trees in a grove

    Step-by-step explanation:

In this question, we are asked to calculate the number of trees in each grove, if they decided not to count the seven trees counted.

Firstly, we identify that there are 5 different groves which have the same number of set of trees. Since there are no half trees or fractional trees, we must identify that the total number of trees in all the groves must be a multiple of 5.

Now, there are 143, if they decided not to count the 7 trees, the total number of trees in all the grooves would have been 143 + 7 = 150 trees

Now, we proceed to get the number of trees in each of the grooves. To do that, we simply make a division.

Number of trees in each grove = Total number of Trees/5 = 150/5 = 30 trees per grove
