Which of the following is not an example of using the distributive property to multiply 12 times 22?

    That would be : 10 (2 * 22)

    because 12 (20 + 2) = 12 x 22 ... and 22 (10 + 2) = 22 x 12

    whereas, 10 (2 * 22) = 10 x 44
