A flower vase has a square base with each side 4 inches. The vase is 2 feet tall. The vase must be filled up halfway to keep the flowers healthy. How much water is needed? (Hint: Sketch the vase Volume = l * w*h)

    Since the vase has square base and a height, it's a right prism. First, change the 2 feet into inches (12 inches per one foot) = 24 inches height. Using the given equation, V=length x width x height, V = 4in x 4 in x 24 in, the vase would have a volume of 384 in³. BUT, it only has to be half full, so divide our answer by 2: 192 in³ is our final answer
