The angle of elevation from the base to the top of a waterslide is 13 degrees. The slide extends horizontally 58.2 meters. Approximate the height of the waterslide.

    The task represents triangle with 90 degrees angle bellow top of the waterslide. that means that we can yous trigonometry functions to find out all the angles or lengths of triangle.

    In this case we need to find height which we will find using tan function.

    tan (13) = x/58.2

    x = 58.2*tan (13) = 13.43m

    Answer is 13.43 meters
