    Answer (X-6)

    (X-5) (x-6)

    X times X and X times - 6 - and - 5 times X and - 5 times - 6

    X^2-6x-5x + 30

    As before, area = length x width

    width = area / length = (x^2-11x+30) / (x-5); factoring

    = (x-6) (x-5) / (x-5)

    = x - 6 meters
