Explain how to find the value of z if you know that 100x*2 + 120x + z is a perfect square trinomial

    Recall that (a+b) ²=a²+2ab+b²

    100x²+120x+z

    in this case, because100x² = (10x) ², a=10x, z=b²

    120=2*10*b

    b=6

    z=b²=36

    the square is (10x+6) ²
