Can you simplify 7+4 (x+5)

    first distribute

    distributive property

    a (b+c) = (ab) + (ac)

    ac=a times c

    so 4 (x+5) = (4*x) + (4*5) = 4x+20

    7+4x+20=4x+27

    7+4x+20, add 7 & 20 together
