A commuter backs her car out of her garage with an acceleration of 1.40 m/s2. (a) how long (in seconds) does it take her to reach a speed of 2.00 m/s?

    Velocity is the integral of acceleration. Since the acceleration is 1.4m/s^2 the integral is just V=1.4t m/s

    So se set

    2.00=1.4t

    2.00/1.4=1.43s

    t=1.43s
