A solid block of metal has a density of 6 kg/m^3. what happens to the density if the block is cut in half?

    The density doesn't change if you cut the block in half. The volume and the mass both will be multiplied by 1/2. but that doesn't change the density at all. since 10/5 = 2 but 5/2.5 = 2
