When a bow an arrow is fired, how does the size of the force of the bow on the arrow compare of the arrow on the bow

    Stated by Newton's 2nd Law of Motion, the arrow will exert an equal force on the bow as the bow exerts on the arrow. So if the bow applies 2 Newtons of force on the arrow, the arrow will apply 2 Newtons of force back on the bow.
