What is a prokaryotic and eukaryotic cell?

    Eukaryotic cells are organisms whose cells have nucleus enclosed within membranes, unlike prokaryotic cells are those that do not have membrane-bound nucleus.

    Prokaryotes:

    - are bacterial cells

    - are single celled

    - do not have a nucleus

    - are smaller than eukaryotes

    - have plasmids

    Eukaryotes:

    - are multicellular

    - contain a nucleus
