    where KE is kinetic energy in joules,

    v is velocity in meters per second.

    So in the above question

    m=2.10kg

    v=12.2m/s

    KE=.5*2.10 * (12.2) ^2

    K. E=.5*2.10*148.84

    K. E=156.282 joules
