The reason why polar bodies are formed is because the oocyte does not disintegrate evenly. This type of cell disintegration or division forms haploid cells. Cytoplasm makes the egg to turn into a mature oven, as the polar body would then dissolve. The polar body initially found will then undergo meiosis 2 and then divide to form two secondary polar bodies.
