    constant voltage of 100 volts and a resistance of 500 ohms.

    I = 100 / 500. Current = 0.2 amps

    resistance to 200 ohms. I = 100 / 200. Now the current is 0.5 amps.

    As we also know that Voltage is directly proportional to the current

    Resistance is the proportionality constant.
