    Skull Tilt

    Explanation:

The tilting of the causes the orbital roof plates not to be superimposed. Tilting also causes parts of the skull to be out of focus. When the head is tilted to one side it causes one of the orbital roof plates to appear slightly higher than the other. Therefore, the skull will require reexamination

    Other causes of error include

    1. Tipping of the chin low or high

    2. Slumped position of the patient

    3. Movement of the body of the patient during the exposure

    4. The patient's head is turned to one side during the exposure

    5. Positioning of the patient in relation to the exposure; too close or remote
