a car moves from a to b at a speed of 50km per hr and comes back from b to a at a speed of 30km per hour. find its average speed during the journey

    You'll want to add all the trips together, then divide buy the number of trips. Average can be thought of like "in the middle".

    (50 + 30) : 2

    80 : 2 = 40.
