Instantaneous speed is the motion rate of object at a particular time period or moment. If we take an example of a cheetah who is running with speed of 80 miles per hour then it is his instantaneous speed because it is shown as in per hour speed

It tells nothing about what your speed was 1 second, 1 minute, or 1 hour ago, or what speed you've been averaging for the past 3 minutes. It only tells you what your speed is RIGHT NOW.
