El trabajo puede definirse como transferencia de energía. En física decimos que el trabajo se realiza en un objeto cuando se transfiere energía a ese objeto. Si un objeto transfiere (da) energía a un segundo objeto, entonces el primer objeto funciona en el segundo objeto. El trabajo es la aplicación de una fuerza sobre una distancia.
