    They found that most children of divorced parents:

    1. all experienced emotional disturbance at the time of the divorce

    2. two thirds were coping reasonably well after five years

    3. after fifteen years, nearly all felt they had suffered in some way from their parents' mistakes

    The studies indicate how crucial it is for partnerships in parentings. Because 2 parents usually posses each of their own strength and weakness to support each other, which will be really crucial for the children's development
