National Television Standards Committee, also known as NTSC is a broadcasting format which might be similar to PAL version but it is not the same. It is native to the United States of America and it is adopted in countries like Taiwan, Myanmar, Japan and South Korea.

Due to technical differences, televisions which have the PAL format will not work in the United States of America. However by installing a conversion device, they can be converted and transmitted on the televisions.
