How is power distributed in Israel's government (unitary, confederation, federal) ?

    Israel is a unitary state, not a federation. Its democratic political system is parliamentary; the Israeli president asks the leader of the strongest party or faction to form a government, and after his cabinet wins a vote in parliament, he becomes the prime minister. But Israel is a unitary state.
