in the United States, it is a cultural characteristics to own a dog while in some continents like Africa, it is also a cultural characteristics to own farm animals such as hens and goats at home. depriving them of keeping their animals based on sanitary excuses is just a negative view of their cultural character of keeping farm animals.

additionally, it has been scientifically proven that dogs are host and transmit diseases more than even farm animals thus the unsanitary excuse is unacceptable.
