Egypt has always centered everything including farming and agriculture around it's prime location around the Nile River and the abundance of water it has always provided. As of late, the Nile River is becoming depleted over time because the northerly bordering Nation of Ethiopia has been building dams and impeding the flow. Potential war may erupt over this issue of water sharing. Actually quite interesting.
Basic answer though, near the Nile River.
