    Hello!

The Tinker v. Des Moines case involved students protesting silently against the Vietnam War. To protest, the students wore black armbands. The principal of the school said that if these students were to wear armbands, they would be suspended. Even after the warning, the students still wore the armbands and were suspended.

The parents of the children went forward to sue the school for violating the right of free speech. After going to court, the court had sided with the school, and the students appealed the case to the Supreme Court.

Afterwards, the Supreme Court sided with the students (7-2), and they agreed that the rights of students should be protected.

So therefore, the answer is A, the events involved symbolic speech without disruption.
