Participating in extracurricular activities can be beneficial for children however if the following situations happen the parents shouldn't push their children to participate

If she starts forgetting about homework;

if she is tired, sleepy;

if she is not enjoying the extra activities

Annie's parents should pay attention to her verbal and non-verbal responses to avoid risking her mental health.
