Many people in this country think of the united states as a more-or-less "middle-class" society because:

Not sure what this is based off, but i would say that many people think of this country as middle class because we dont have any kings or rulers ... we have a democracy and we dont really have to many rich people around ... then again where i live, rich was someone who didnt have a trailer for a house.
