Jacob concludes that each individual has a different need and that this reflective of Maslow’s hierarchy of needs. In that, need is a stratum for instance it starts with the most basic physiologic needs. In contrast to that of his previous experience with his past environment which craved not highly on social needs, esteem nor actualization but mostly on acquiring shelter, food and water.
