    Negative feed back

    C. minimizes changes

    Explanation:

Negative feed back is a control mechanism that has a minimizing effect on rate of changes.

Negative feed back on an ongoing mechanism will act in such a way that the rate of resulting changes will be reduced i. e. it will tend to stop the reaction.

Example of negative feed back can studied by control of trp operon in which increasing concentration of tryptophan will stop the trp operon from producing tryptophan.
