Super heat, Regeneration and reheat all are used to improve the efficiency of Rankine cycle.

    Super heat:

In this steam heat beyond the boiling temperature of water and then allows to expand in the turbine. By doing this, there is less possibility of corrosion of turbine blade.

    Regeneration:

In regeneration, when steam expanding in the turbine then some parts of steam bleed from this and use to heat the feed water and after this heated water supply in the boiler, by doing this the energy required is reduces and leads to improve the efficiency of Rankine cycle.

    Reheating:

In reheating two turbine is used. One turbine is high pressure turbine and other one is low pressure turbine. First steam supply into high pressure turbine and after that steam again reheat and after that it allows to expand in low pressure turbine. By doing this work out of cycle increases and that leads to increase the efficiency of Rankine cycle.
