How did that massive territorial acquisition affect ordinary colonists?

They wanted to settle the westward lands after the Treaty of Paris but couldn't yet because of previous legislature made by the colonies. Also, raids and wars with Natives began because now there were no colonists in the area other than the British colonists so they became the primary enemies of the Natives.
