The diameter of a circular clock is 12 inches. what is the approximate length of the outer edge of the clock between the numbers 3 and 6?

    The formula for the circumference of a cirlce is 2 x pi x radius

    So to find the length of the outer edge between 3 and 6 = 2 x Pi x 6 = 37.7. And then divide 37.7 by 4 which equals to 9.425 inches
