The answer would be 183 and 11/17.
In order to find this the long division way, start by seeing how many times 17 will go into 31 (the first two numbers of 3122).
17 goes into 31 = 1 time with 14 left over,
Now we add one of those 2's to the end of 14 to get 142. Now we see how many times 17 goes into 142.
17 goes into 142 = 8 times with 6 left over
Now we add the last 2 to the end of 6 to get 62. And we see how many times 17 goes into 62.
17 goes into 62 = 3 times with 11 left over
Now we take all the numbers that we have put into it and add the remainder divided by 17.
183 and 11/17
