The block moves a distance L up the incline. The block does not stop after moving this distance but continues to move with constant speed. What is the total work Work done on the block by all forces? (Include only the work done after the block has started moving, not the work needed to start the block moving from rest.)

    According to Newton's 1st law, an object subjected to no force, or net force 0, would maintain a constant speed. If the block is moving with a constant speed, then the net force (gravity, friction) must be 0. Therefore, the work that is done on the block to move at this constant speed must also be 0.
