industry vs inferiority is the fourth stage of the psycho-sexual development stage of Erick Erickson's theory. At this stage, children are from 5 to 12 age. At this stage, children start to read, write and do the sums by themselves.

At this stage teacher also play a great role in children learning skills. Children peer group a greater role in building children's self-concept. At this stage, children start to feel competencies and feel need to be identified in society. But when children are not able to develop a skill of competency and then they feel inferiority in society.
